Wunderlich is a high octane, hard rock, original song writing band out of Chicago. Our sound is like every hard rock and metal group you loved to hear as a kid. But we don’t sound like anyone but us. We are original. Besides originals, we have cover songs, from the 70s through now, in our arsenal, although we almost never play them. The crowds at the Skid Row, Sebastian Bach, Trapt, Filter, and THC concerts loved it when we opened for them.
The Fiction We Create’s inception started in the late summer of 2023. Where members S. Gallows (ex-29 Needles, ex-Punch Cabbie, ex-Code Name: Phoenix) and Chris Bryant (ex-B.I.V, ex-Code Name: Phoenix, ex-Now Its Dark) were wanting to create a project that was unique yet accessible, brutal yet melodic, and everything else in between. In doing this, they honed in and created a sound fit for fans of Bad Wolves, Ice Nine Kills, Black Veil Brides, and Motionless in White. Rounding out the lineup is Mel Flowers (The Waterfall King, ex-Orinoco), Lex Etc (ex-B.I.V), and James Flanders (ex-Don’t Think Twice).
The Fiction We Create consists of the powerhouse players from the local midwest bands: 29 Needles, Punch Cabbie, Code Name: Phoenix, B.I.V, The Waterfall King and Don’t Think Twice. While still making a name for themselves, the group has already shared the stage with known acts such as: Alborn, For the Fallen Dreams, elijah, Versus Me, The Almas, Vampires Everywhere!, Dead Eyes, Eyes Set to Kill, Secrets, Lost in Separation, Woe, is Me, Outline in Color, Not Enough Space, SoulKiller, Influence, Creeper, The Bunny The Bear, Night Rider and many more.
