We've been told by fans over and over that an Eyes of the Nile show simply sounds and FEELS like a classic Maiden show. Every detailed drum accent and fill, every bass gallop, and every soaring guitar harmony and shredding lead, played dead on, as if you were hearing Live After Death or Rock in Rio.
12 Stones released their second album, Potter's Field, which featured a heavier, more guitar-driven sound than their debut, in 2004. After taking a break from music to spend time with their families, the bandmembers reconvened to make their third album. Affected by the impact of Hurricane Katrina on their hometown, 12 Stones recorded Anthem for the Underdog in Memphis, Tennessee with Justin Rimer and Skidd Mills during the better part of 2006, and the album was released in 2007. In 2012 the band reunited with Underdog producer Mills for that fourth outing, Beneath the Scars, which featured the singles "Bulletproof" and "Infected."
