Vocalist/bass guitarist/songwriter Glenn Hughes is a true original. No other rock musician has carved such a distinctive style blending the finest elements of hard rock, soul and funk. That astonishing voice is Hughes’ calling card. He’s known as a singer’s singer. Stevie Wonder once called Hughes his favourite white singer.

Hughes, a native of Cannock, England, absorbed all kinds of influences, including early British hard rock, the Beatles and, most importantly, American soul and R&B. The sleek Motown sound from Detroit and the gritty Stax/Volt sound from Memphis left their mark on him.

The first important band Hughes was a member of that achieved notable success was Trapeze. The band’s early ’70s albums included “Trapeze“, “Medusa” and “You Are The Music… We’re Just The Band“.

Originally based in Huntington Beach, CA, (Hed) p.e. was founded in 1994 by frontman Jahred, whose goal was to fuse the region’s long-standing punk rock heritage with G-funk-inflected hip-hop. He was shortly joined by bassist Mark who has remained alongside the band until present day. The line up is currently rounded out by guitarist Jaxon and drummer Trauma.

(Hed)p.e was snatched up by Jive Records early in its career, but it wasn’t until the year 2000 when they released the album “broke” that they received mainstream success. It was this album that solidified them as a mainstay in the rock and metal community.
SCSSRS was released on September 29th on THC: MUSIC, along with the single “Favourite Song” featuring Elias Soriano of Nonpoint, which received rave reviews and airplay across the country, including adds on monster stations like WJJO, and featured appearances on syndicated shows including Loudwire Nights, Full Metal Jackie, and Hard Drive with Lou Brutus.

Having been best friends since they were little, Adam & Tom were always musical collaborators. In 2017, they got an idea to start a cover band in memory of the music they loved growing up. After many trials and tribulations, they decided to call themselves Fueled By Emo—a play on the name of the label that put their favorite bands on the map.

We play the likes of Fall Out Boy, Paramore, Panic! At The Disco, The Used, Taking Back Sunday, Yellowcard, Anberlin, Jimmy Eat World, All Time Low, My Chemical Romance and many, many more!

This band is made up of 5 best friends and Pop Punk/Emo kids. Nothing more, nothing less.
