ABOUT ERIC EMERSON:

My name is Eric Emerson; I’m a Stand-Up comedian. I was born-n-raised in North Carolina and now I’m living in Chicago, IL. If I had to describe my style, which feels gross to do, but I’m making my own website so whatcha gonna do… I’d say generally people are very complimentary of my off-the-cuff style and my ability to mix my written jokes into riffs. I like to think I’m likable on stage, so the content of my material doesn’t wig people out too much when I have an off-color take. It’s gotta feel natural up there on stage, right? That’s what I’m going for. Watch the clips! I love doing stand-up, but if you need me to write or act, I can probably do that.

Credits? If you insist: I’ve hosted for some big names like Shane Gillis, Ian Bagg, and Luis J. Gomez. I’ve featured for some big names like Dan St. Germain, Desi Alexander, and Chance Willie. I’ve headlined some cool shows myself like Chicago Comedy Club at House of Blues, Stand Up Logan Square, and Discount Therapy. I’ve produced shows for every major comedy club in Chicago at some point, and right now I’m producing ‘Stand Up Stand Up’ at the Den Theater.
